Jesus Christ Is the High Priest Who Performs
the New Covenant Sacrifice in the Order of Melchizedek
The reason Jesus became the High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek is because,
in this age, too, there exists the Passover of the new covenant He must perform as the Priest.
Just as Melchizedek blessed Abraham with bread and wine in the Old Testament times,
Jesus granted mankind the blessing of eternal life through bread and wine.
The Members of the Church of God Follow the Path of Christ Ahnsahnghong,
Who Came in the Order of Melchizedek
Just like Jesus, the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong also served
as the High Priest in the order of Melchizedek, granting the blessing of eternal life
through the bread and wine of the new covenant Passover.
In this age, only those who follow the order of Melchizedek of the new covenant,
not the order of Aaron from the old covenant, can become the children of promise
who will inherit God’s promise.
Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose
very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. . . .
where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf.
He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel,
members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.
