Christ Ahnsahnghong was born in a mining town located in Jangsu-gun, Jeollabuk-do, Republic of Korea, in 1918. At Jesus’ first coming 2,000 years ago, even a dumb animal yielded its manger to Him and magi from the east presented Him the gifts of gold, incense, and myrrh. When He came a second time to the earth as a man, however, from the moment of His birth, He went through trials and afflictions.
In 1918, when Christ Ahnsahnghong was born, even before the end of World War I which drove the whole world into a nightmare of death, a shadow of death cast upon the whole earth again. The Spanish flu infected one-third of the world’s population and killed 50 to 100 million people. Korea was no exception to the fear of a catastrophe called the “medical holocaust.” All people of a village were infected and there was no one to bury the bodies. The Spanish flu infected 7.6 million, 40% of Koreans, and 140,000 people of them died.
What on earth did Satan hold this death banquet over the lives of all humankind? About 2,000 years ago, when Jesus was born, King Herod committed the massacre of all the little boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity to kill Jesus. Likewise, in the Age of the Holy Spirit, Satan tried to prevent the birth of Second Coming Christ by killing all children (Matthew 2:13-16).
However, the power of darkness can never hinder the purpose and will of God Almighty. According to the prophecies of King David and of the parable of the fig tree, Christ Ahnsahnghong was born in 1918 and was baptized in 1948 at the age of thirty, and shined the light of life of the New Covenant.
The World Mission Society Church of God believes in Ahnsahnghong the Christ who came a second time according to the prophecies of the Bible.
