Just as there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity, our life of faith also has a clear purpose: the salvation of our souls—that is, receiving eternal life.
For our salvation, God carried out His work of redemption over 6,000 years, dividing it into three ages—the age of the Father, the age of the Son, and the age of the Holy Spirit—and gave us a different name of the Saviour in each age.
In the age of the Father, the Saviour’s name was Jehovah. When the age changed to the age of the Son, it was Jesus. Now, however, we are living in the age of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, salvation cannot be received through the name of Jehovah or the name of Jesus. Only by knowing Jesus’ new name and calling on that name can we be saved.
Jesus’ new name—the name that grants the blessing of eternal life freely in the age of the Holy Spirit—is Christ Ahnsahnghong.
