On Sunday, 4th May, 110 passionate volunteers from ASEZ WAO, the volunteer group of the World Mission Society Church of God, united for a community clean-up in Epsom, Surrey. Inspired by the words “Be the salt and light of the world”, volunteers from London, Manchester, and Birmingham came together to make a positive impact.
The team focused their efforts on key areas including Rosebery Park, Epsom Town Centre, Epsom Train Station, and surrounding green spaces. Despite Epsom being considered relatively clean, the volunteers impressively collected 40 bags of litter!
The event was supported by local councillors Steve McCormick and James Lawrence, who praised the volunteers’ dedication and community spirit.
