Love in Action: OKC Church Hosts 1575th Life-Saving Blood Drive | WMSCOG
Просмотр 59 раз #Спасение жизни CHURCH OF GOD USAOn March 25, 2025, the World Mission Society Church of God in Oklahoma City hosted the 1575th Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life through the Love of the Passover. In partnership with Our Blood Institute, the event aimed to help alleviate Oklahoma’s urgent blood shortage.
More than 180 guests attended, including notable community leaders such as State Senator Nikki Nice, State Representative Ellen Pogemiller, UNA-USA OKC President Melody Derksen, OKCPD Master Sergeant Robert Skalla, and Miss Mundo Latina Oklahoma, Suseth Mejia.
Through their collective efforts, 91 pints of blood were donated—enough to potentially save 273 lives.
The Church received commendations from Governor Kevin Stitt, Mayor David Holt, and State Representatives Ellyn Hefner and Arturo Alonso for their continued dedication to humanitarian service. The event was also featured on News 9’s “The Porch.”
This blood drive not only helped replenish the state’s critical blood supply, but also united the community in a shared mission of love, sacrifice, and service. By coming together to give the gift of life, volunteers and donors alike made a lasting impact—one that brings hope and healing to patients and families across Oklahoma.
