Christians have been calling God “Father” for thousands of years.
However, if there is a father, there must be his children and their mother who gave them birth.
If God the Father and His children exist, there must be God the Mother.
So the Bible clearly describes God the Father and God the Mother as “our Father” and “our Mother.”
“This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, . . .’ ” Matthew 6:9
But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. Galatians 4:26
