Chapter 6 The Law Was Established So That the Trespass Might Increase

God placed the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden, because Adam and Eve were not perfect. To the perfect beings, any law does not become a hindrance. As it is written:

『We also know that law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious . . . 』 1 Ti 1:9
