The event was packed with history, tradition, performances, games, and delicious Korean cuisine — giving guests a chance to explore Korea in a fun and meaningful way.
As visitors entered the venue, smiles and bright faces filled the room. Some guests, already familiar with Korean culture, eagerly chatted among themselves, while others arrived curious and excited to discover what the day had in store.
After an introduction to Korean culture and an overview of the program, the missionaries from South Korea delivered captivating performances.
First was an elegant Korean fan dance,followed by a Taekwondo skit, showcasing dignified, poised, and controlled movements.
Soon the venue was alive with laughter and excitement as guests participated in various traditional Korean games and activities — each unique, each enjoyable, and all filled with cheerful competition.
The program ended with everyone experiencing authentic Korean dishes. The atmosphere became warm and lively as guests enjoyed their food while sharing their thoughts about the day.
According to Bible prophecy, Korea is emerging as a nation that draws global attention. Once among the poorest countries, it has transformed in just half a century into a world leader in culture, entertainment, beauty, technology, and food.Many attendees realized they had long-held misconceptions about Korea, but left inspired, informed, and happy to have discovered more about Korean culture — even within South Africa’s rich cultural diversity.
